by Budgie Lover BreAnn

Ingredients:
1 cup of oats,
3 tbl spoons of honey,
1 jar of peanut butter.

Mix oats with honey. Take 2 butter knives and put 1 knife on top and 1 on the side. Push lightly. Take knifes and put 1 on each side.

Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Take out of oven and let cool. Frost with peanut butter. Give to your parakeet(s). Watch them go crazy!

Note: If you have a flight cage with more than 4 budgies like me,I would recomend putting 2 in the cage. I have six parakeets. 2 domanite pied, a yellowface a recceseve pied,a cinnimon and a female luntino. I always put 3 in.

Fruit in Muffins
by: Anonymous

Fruit in large amounts can contribute to yeast in small birds like Budgies and Cockatiels,Lovebirds, etc.Substitute veggies instead-much healthier.better yet, feed fresh veggies--cooked veggies lose vitamins.
