Manor Vets 371-373 Hagley Road Edgbaston Birmingham West Midlands B17 8DL When Chirpie our budgie broke his leg, we thought it might unlikely he would recover properly. We found Manor Vets from recommendation and help from my daughter who is a vet working in Yorkshire. We were lucky to have an Avian expert close at hand (about 45 minutes away) and have been impressed by the service and expertise we received. Marie put our minds at rest straight away with positive and immediate treatment. We visited four times and spent much time nursing Chirpie, especially in the early days when he was so upset and in pain and discomfort. However now after nearly 5 weeks he is virtually back to normal and his leg is getting stronger by the day. Despite initial nerve damage, he now uses his leg normally and although it might be sometime before he has the same strength in this leg, the grip in his claws has returned. Chirpie is now a happy budgie again, getting up to mischief and singing all day long.
